Breeding to Javelin has one major constant. No matter what, the foals will be gray.

So much to our amazement Morewynstowe Shabeen came out as a chestnut. From that moment on she decided to be different. Not only was she our first chestnut, she was also our first Charlton Javelin filly. Then she also decided to show a real independent streak. From only a few days old she didn't care what her mum was up to much to Just Jules disgust.

We were getting ready for a real fight when starting to train her up but as she matured she started to be quite compliant. Maybe things are about to change as now she's also started to turn into a grey as well.

She still has a real drive which was shown recently when she decided that our new miniature was really scary so turned into a full wire hunter.

Her expressiveness will definitely make her into a stunning horse in competition. We can't see her backing down from any challenges.
